Dureshewar Mauwoz Evaluation part 2
Addition to question 6... another problem from technology is uploading things and it doesn't happen when you want it to. This is a great example, I tried uploading these two video before and it didn't let me and now i have uploaded these videos, they are not together on one post which is another problem. Also on YouTube it wouldn't let me upload the whole evaluation together so that is why there are two different videos for this.

Film Synopsis
The sequence/story of how the film continues from the shown death.
1. girl dies
2. 3 days earlier we see her walking out of work and stands outside waiting for something/someone.
3.A woman walks out of the office and says goodnight and walks down the road, a car pulls up, scarlet gets in.
4.Her best friend is driving the car, established through friendly dialogue. The friend is a typical stereotype of a near, glasses, skinny which provides comic relief.
5.They pull up outside a block of flats and get out the car discussing scarlet running for the marathon and jake (the best friend) teases her about it.
6.They go inside and the camera becomes point of view suggesting someone is watching them suggesting that person is the murderer.
7.The next day scarlet is shown getting ready to go out for a run leaving her ipod behind which shows the audience this isnt the day that she dies.
8. She jogs around and then sees a strange man staring at her from down the path.Scarlet stops and runs onto another path as the man has scared her.
9.It then cuts to scarlet leaving the woods and going back to her flat. She comes in and Jake tells here theres a message on the phone for her because he missed it. When she plays it, she can hear the sound of footsteps running, she look towards Jake and tension in built then Jake suddenly turns and laghs dismissing the call as competition for the marathon trying to freak her out. Scarlet doesnt look convinced .Scarlet goes to work and we see her walking towards her desk.
10.Days pass and its in the morning where the audience see's Scarlet get ready for her jog. she is wearing the clothes she wore when she got murdered which can suggest to the audience that this is the day that she gets murdered.
11. Jake figures out who the murderer is, which makes him the hero as most teenage films use (best friend as the hero). The audience with Jakes help find out that the murderer is infact a psychopath women .
--> This challenges a convention of a thriller because normally the murderer is a man.

Peer's review
Over the past week i showed our opening scene to a few of my friends and i asked for their opinion.
I got all positive feedback which i am really glad about because we all have worked very hard on making this perfect.
My friends really loved the music and the camera shots/angles. And they really got into the movie and they wanted to see/know what happens next. I am very happy that they got into it because that is what one of our aim was, to draw the audiece in, and i believe we have accomplished that.

Uploaded film and evaluation prep
Today as our film has been finished and is uploaded to Youtube, we have started to write our evaluations ready to give in on Friday, which is the final deadline. I am proud that our group has finished on time (thanks to the deadline mix up I think!) and we now have a good head start on evaluating. I have already started preparing my answers to questions and I think I might do a PowerPoint or a podcast to hand it in.
